Please ask about the student visa and student visa requirements in the German Embassy in your home country. Prior to submitting your visa application, you are required to prove adequate funds to cover your living expenses during your studies in Germany. Students are required to open a Student Blocked Bank Account in Germany and transfer at least 8,640 EUR to this account.

There is no tuition fees in the most of public German universities. However you need to participate in yearly contribution for up to euro 500. As a student you get subsidised travel, insurance and food.
